NetherGames Regions

PLEASE NOTE

We've changed na.nethergames.org to us.nethergames.org as it better fits the region's purpose of providing a better connection to those in the United States.

At NetherGames, we pride ourselves on different regions for our players to play our server in. We are willing to provide a list of regions from different locations worldwide to connect to. While there might not be a region in your country to you, but you can try connecting to the nearest region. Below are some regions we support as of 18 May 2024:

Default

We have a default location connector for players as well, which redirects you to the nearest data centre for connecting, i.e., if you are closer to the US, you will be connected to Beauharnois, Canada region, if you are closer to IND, you will be connected to central Mumbai, India region and so on. Here are some steps to connect to it:

  1. Open Minecraft
  2. In the servers tab, create a new server
  3. In the IP field, enter the IP address: play.nethergames.org
  4. (Optional) Set a name for the server, for instance, we'll be keeping it "NetherGames"
  5. Hit Play, if you've entered all the details carefully, you should be able to connect to the server.

IND

In 2023, we added an opportunity for players near India to connect to our server with a better latency and bandwidth speed. These servers were being hosted in central Mumbai, India. Here is how you can connect to it:

  1. Open Minecraft
  2. In the servers tab, create a new server
  3. In the IP field, enter the IP address: ind.nethergames.org
  4. (Optional) Set a name for the server, for instance, we'll be keeping it "NetherGames India"
  5. Hit Play, if you've entered all the details carefully, you should be able to connect to the server.

US

As per the server having a US region from starting, we've allowed players from areas new US or inside the US, to connect to our server with better latency. These servers are hosted in Beauharnois, Canada. Here are some steps to connect to the US region:

  1. Open Minecraft
  2. In the servers tab, create a new server
  3. In the IP field, enter the IP address: us.nethergames.org
  4. (Optional) Set a name for the server, for instance, we'll be keeping it "NetherGames US"
  5. Hit Play, if you've entered all the details carefully, you should be able to connect to the server.

AP

Asia Pacific. Hosted in Singapore, the AP region is always accessible for players from equivalent regions to connect to. Here are some steps to connect to the AP region:

  1. Open Minecraft
  2. In the servers tab, create a new server
  3. In the IP field, enter the IP address: ap.nethergames.org
  4. (Optional) Set a name for the server, for instance, we'll be keeping it "NetherGames Asia Pacific"
  5. Hit Play, if you've entered all the details carefully, you should be able to connect to the server.

EU

Europe region for European countries. Hosted in central France, Europe, this region is accessible for players in European countries to connect with better latency and bandwidth. Here are some steps to connect to the EU region:

  1. Open Minecraft
  2. In the servers tab, create a new server
  3. In the IP field, enter the IP address: eu.nethergames.org
  4. (Optional) Set a name for the server, for instance, we'll be keeping it "NetherGames Europe"
  5. Hit Play, if you've entered all the details carefully, you should be able to connect to the server.

PLEASE NOTE

Please note that if you don't know which region is best for you, it's better to use play.nethergames.org to connect to the nearest data centre.
